'I remember hearing Armand’s Van Helden's smash hit 'You Don't Even Know Me' on Radio 1 and immediately running to HMV in Leister Square to try and track down the CD single. I couldn't remember the last time I had felt so excited about music'
In the summer of 1999 while living in London, Canadian DJ/Producer Christian Alvarez discovered what would turn out to his greatest passion in life to date - House Music. Exposed to the world's mecca of club culture Christian's fascination with Djing was instantaneous. A son of a Latin musician who was inspired by funk, soul, disco and pop Christian had grown up in a house of music from an early age. In 2000 Christian began Djing and compiled records which were inspired by his roots creating his signature sound of uplifting House.

Whether you prefer his peak-hour tunes or his deep, soulful grooves DJ's abroad have been supporting his music in both clubs and radio stations all across the globe since his first EP in 2002. Several of Christian's productions have also been selected for CD compilations including his remix of 'Good Lovin' which was featured on the 2005 edition of the Dance Valley compilation mixed by Swedish House legend StoneBridge. Christian's music also also received praise in 2005 appearing in several UK publications IDJ Magazine, Keep On and DJ Times all with positive reviews.
Outside of the studio Christian can be found Djing across the globe and has played in Canada, USA, Europe and Mexico. He also has made several guest appearances on radio programs in Ibiza Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Canada.
Upcoming for 2006 is of course more production beginning with his remix of 'Ever After' for Rasmus Faber’s Farplane Records. Christian will also be returning to Fame Records this time around providing a disco-fueled remix for label head Mischa Daniels. You can also expect to see Christian on several other labels this year as well as his own Delecto Recordings returning with 'Feel the Groove' – his follow up to last year’s summer smash Sophisticated Groove featuring Dre.
